Maximizing Information Resources for Institutional Success at CMU

In 2003, CMU received a five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Title III Part A Programs to improve its student and faculty information systems. To this end, we have embarked on several important initiatives, linked on the left. In brief:

  • The Faculty Information Database has collected information from over 650 CMU faculty on their teaching and research interests, publications, presentations, and more.
  • A directory containing nearly 4,000 of CMU's Master Course Syllabi is an easy way to find syllabi by department and program designator.
  • As the platform for CMU's new student information system, SAP Campus Management stores the content of CMU's new online bulletin. More Campus Management functionality will become available during 2006.
